What is ILM?
The Ilan Lev Method is a hands-on somatic approach that helps the nervous system relearn easier movement. Fully clothed on the table, movement is introduced through the body’s structure so areas of held tension can release and the system can reorganize. People often notice more ease, fluidity, and energy — and sometimes emotional release as old patterns unwind.
Sessions are normally 1 hour long.

FAQ
What is the Ilan Lev Method?
The Ilan Lev Method is a gentle hands-on approach that helps the body reorganize movement patterns. Through small movements and touch, the nervous system can release unnecessary tension, improve coordination, and allow movement to become easier and more comfortable.
What happens during a session?
You lie comfortably on a treatment table while I guide movement through the body. The session is calm, dynamic and non-forceful. Many people notice changes in breathing, relaxation, and ease of movement during or after the session.
Is it a massage or a physiotherapy?
No. It is not a massage and not physiotherapy. The work focuses on improving communication within the body as a whole, so movement can become more efficient and less effortful.
What can it help with?
People come for many reasons, including pain, stiffness, stress, recovery from injury, improving movement for sport, or simply wanting to feel more comfortable and free in their body.
Is the FREE 10-minute tryout a full session?
No. The tryout is a short introduction so you can experience the method and see if it feels right for you. If you decide to continue, we can discuss a full session afterward.
Do I need to have pain to benefit?
Not at all. Some people come with specific complaints, others want to improve movement quality, relaxation, or body awareness.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothing that allows easy movement is best.
How many sessions do people usually need?
This depends on the person and their goals. Some people feel changes after one session, while others choose a series of sessions to support longer-term changes.
Is it safe?
Yes. It’s responsive, not forced — always adjusted to your comfort and system.
I’m not sure if this is right for me — what should I do?
That’s exactly why the free tryout exists. It allows you to experience the method briefly and ask questions before deciding on a full session.
